Le Crime ne paie pas is a French reader designed
for students who have completed one or two years in French.
It is based on twenty mystery stories taking place in the 20
Arrondissements of Paris.
The heroes are two young detectives who also appeared, when they were younger, in «le vol de la Joconde»
(published in the USA by AMSCO)
Each chapter represents one individual story and there are links
to activities and to images that can be used as
support material for teachers in the classroom.

comprehension exercises .
