Speed

Speed is a measure of how fast an object is travelling.

SPEED   = 

 Distance travelled
Time taken to travel this distance

We say :                

SPEED   = 

 DISTANCE
TIME

 

The S.I unit for Speed is m/s or ms-1, but we can use cm/s or km/s

These show the speed of an object and you should be able to interpret the shapes of these graphs.
