For each of the 10 questions below, click on the True button if you think the statement is true and on the False button if you think the statement is false.  A window will pop up each time to tell you if you are correct.

   1 Internet was first invented so that top secret U.S. military information could be preserved if a nuclear attack destroyed a major city.
    Most web pages are written in a language called Java script.  
   3 The World Wide Web is another name for Internet.    
   4 Netscape is an example of a browser.  
   5 A modem allows one computer to exchange information with another over telephone lines. 
   6 HTML code is used to write web pages. 
   7 There is a delay of several minutes between the time when a web page is published and when visitors can see it.
   8 Web sites can exist on Internet, on an intranet or even on a floppy diskette.   
   9 Internet is controlled by the FCC, an agency of the federal government in the United States.  
   10 FTP stands for Formatted Text Program.
